UP Police ASI Exam Pattern

As per the notification, the selection of the candidates will be made on the basis of their performance in the following three stages:

  1. Online Written Exam
  2. Documentation & Physical Standard Test (PST)
  3. Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

The detail of the UP Police ASI exam pattern for the written exam is mentioned below: –

  • The online written exam will be of an objective type.
  • The total number of marks for the exam is 400 marks.

  • The Question Paper is in both Hindi and English language except for the General Hindi part.

The candidates will be called for the UP Police ASI Physical Standard Test after qualifying written exam. The following criteria have to be met to qualify PST-

US Police ASI Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

The candidates have to go through the Physical Efficiency Test after qualifying Physical standard Test. The candidates have to cover a certain distance in a specific time period, as mentioned below: –

Race –

  • Male – 4.8 km in 28 minutes.
  • Female – 2.4 km in 16 minutes.
